What can I really say to the general public about myself, Claire? I'm a sixteen year old girl living in an eastern state of the United States very ill-suited to my needs. I'm very, very normal but I like to think I'm not sometimes. I live in a normal, middle class family with a mother, a father, a little brother and a cat in a normal, middle class neighborhood. Not many things really annoy me other but being misjudged, yelled at, treated unfairly, misspellings or seeing a friend in distress. Well, dirtiness annoys me, too. (Physically. Mentally I consider that a very likeable trait.) History is my favorite subject because it challenges me in an area I think is important. It's important to know history. I'm a proud person, but not the kind that always has to have the last word. I really like it when I meet someone refreshing and new that reminds me of the world outside my sphere. I like to sleep and dream and I find myself wanting someone I can sleep and dream with as well, as I have not yet found that person. I'd like to have an optimistic sense of the world before I'm old, but I don't know if that's realistic of me. I like to go on trips; when I come back, I always feel like a new person (even though I never am).

This journal is nothing interesting. It's a way to sort my thoughts out while being vulgar and stupid, as my journals in the past have been. I hope to maybe achieve some sort of a good explanation of myself by reading this journal later. Occasionally, I might try to write something respectable that I'm proud of, but that won't happen often. This journal will be used for streams of consciousness, graphics and rants. I do love those three things. My journal is mostly friends only and private and I think I will sometimes post a public entry. Don't worry if I don't add you, it's just me being contrary and elitist.
